The Coast Guard said the draft Strategic Plan of the National Recreational Boating Safety Program 2017-21 was published in the Federal Register.
The NMMA said Ernie Marshburn and his volunteer strategic plan work group prepared the draft and is asking for public feedback.
The Coast Guard is offering the opportunity for review and comment so that the work group can consider the comments and improve the plan, according to the National Marine Manufacturers Association.
The 30-day comment period ends on April 20.
